Hello! A few announcements for the week: Homework for second grade and first grade will be passed out on Monday and is due back Monday 9/17/18. Homework for kinder will be to practice counting backwards from 20 to 0. Also, have your child write out the numbers on a sheet of paper. I will provide the paper and it will be placed in their binder's.  We are asking for donations of dry erase markers and Play-Doh. If you would like to donate to the classroom, please do so by give all materials to the homeroom teacher. Class Dojo is a great way to see how your child is interacting in the classroom.  If you have not received a login for Class Dojo, please contact me or the homeroom teacher.  See you all Monday!

One week down! Thank you guys for a wonderful week. Just a few reminders for next week. No school Monday in observance of Labor Day. Homework for 2nd grade: On Tuesday students will receive Unit 1 Homework of using models to create and break apart numbers. For the Parent Activities at the bottom of the sheet, take pictures of your child completing the activities to receive extra points. Homework for kinder and 1st grade: Have students create numbers with play dough (use clay to help with fine motor skills) and then write the numbers on a sheet of paper. Make sure your child is writing the numbers correctly. Kinder students can do numbers up to 50. 1st grade can do numbers up to 100. Take a picture of your child completing the activity and email to receive credit. Homework will be due on Monday September 10. Sign up for Class Dojo. If you have not received the sign-up paper, please contact me and I will email the log in. Have a great three day weekend!

First Day of School

We will have parent pick-up cards available for lower grade school students August 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm until August 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm. If you've made a parent pick-up card with the upper grade teachers (3rd-5th) you do not need one since all names should be on the card you created on Tuesday. If you are unable to pick up your card on those days, please see the receptionist Monday morning.   Remember drop off for elementary students will be at 7:30 am. Bring all school supplies and an extra pair of clothes in a zip lock bag to leave in their cubby.

Parent Orientation

                       Please join us  August 21, 2018 for parent orientation. Kindergarten will be 10:00 am, 1st grade at 6:00pm and nd grade at 6:00 pm. Please come prepared to ask questions and learn what goes on during the school day.
